The Technology Exchange and Collaboration Hub in Tokyo (TECH-Tokyo G.K.) is the Japanese subsidiary of the Public Benefit Corporation International Innovation Programs Co, dedicated to connecting the world’s top universities with leading corporations. Our aim is to foster robust collaborations through licensing, partnerships, investments into university spinoffs, and sponsored research, as well as to facilitate academic exchange and executive education.
Bringing faculty, researchers, and entrepreneurs—from some of the top universities in the world—and Japanese corporations, entrepreneurs, investors, and universities, closer together. Exploring academic, partnering, and commercial opportunities through a multi-year program of presentations, lectures, workshops, networking, guest speakers, competitions and more.
Attend lectures and presentations with simultaneous Japanese-English translation in Shibuya-Tokyo, and collaborate in real time with faculty, entrepreneurs, and researchers either in person or using a full-size real-time video portal.
WHY
We believe that now, more than ever, it is critical for the world’s leading universities to unite, demonstrate resilience, and show solidarity in the face of the current political challenges and attacks on academic freedom. By coming together, we can strengthen our collective position and create a powerful, united front that supports academic innovation and entrepreneurship globally. Technology transfer and partnering is the engine that brings research and innovation to society to make the world a better place for all of us.
